This home was designed in collaboration with a local custom home builder for an active young family. They wanted a home with warmth and charm that reflected a modern and casual sensibility, incorporating practical, yet elegant finishes. The family enjoyed hosting friends and often had house guests so they wanted a home with a big gracious kitchen as well as a playful game room & upstairs powder bath.

We focused on natural finishes and custom details like the wood clad ceiling in the formal dining and modern farm door details that allowed for a organic palette of material finishes which provided this home it’s comfortable, casual and welcoming personality.
